PrefaceWith this issue of the American Band Journal we welcome Mr. Kevin Norbury as Editor. Mr. Norbury has emigrated to the United States from England where he worked as Senior Editor in The Salvation Army's Music Editorial Department.
Music from Erik Silfverberg of Denmark and David Catherwood of Northern Ireland continues the international direction of the American Band Journal.
We are also grateful to Dr. Harold Burgmayer for his magnificent setting of "Abide With Me" and to long-time contributor Major Thomas Mack for his setting of Captain Donna K. Peterson's original tune set to the words "To God Be The Glory."
