AIMS
The second part of this two-year course continues with the aims of the first part:

1. To provide a straightforward commentary on The Salvation Army's Articles of Faith, and so cover in as plain terms as possible the teaching material contained in the Handbook of Doctrine.
2. To suggest a variety of ways of presenting this important foundation material to children above and below the age of 10, assuming that the class teacher has at least 15minutes of weekly teaching time at his disposal
3. To explain the particular characteristics of the Salvationist and The Salvation Army. In this course, these characteristics are delt with at the points nearest to the doctrines which underly them, to emphasize the connection between faith and practice.
4. To show the doctrinal significance of the chief festivals in the Christian year, so that suitable teaching material is to hand when required.
