Foreword

This battle that we are fighting has no particular frontier. The solder and the homemaker, the student, the waitress, the doctor and the general are all equally on the frontline. Our enemy is unseen. His principal tactic is deception. His goal, by subtlety and treachery, is to ensnare the good soldier with temptations to self-indulgence or self-pity. For this purpose, the dull, tedious days of everyday life make ideal campaign conditions.

It is here, amid this spiritual Cold War, that we are called to be faithful to Christ. While working, playing, living and dying on this invisible field of battle, we serve our Master until He returns. The victorious soldier will be the one who honors Christ not only in grand and glorious moments,but also in the commonplace routines of normal life.

Letters from the Front is encouragement that every CHristian can use to keep on fighting the good fight. These stories are eyewitness reports from Christian foot soldiers.
